SAD: Barber stabs graduate to death during Champions League match in Lagos
A thrill seeking outing turned out to be the last for an unfortunate graduate in Lagos after he was stabbed while watching football. 29-year-old Saheed Badmus went to a public viewing centre in the Egbe area of the state to watch a match between Chelsea Football Club and Atletico Madrid. An argument is said to have broken out while the deceased was there and he was allegedly stabbed to death by one Yemi, a barber. The duo was said to have disagreed after Yemi shouted at both Saheed and an elderly man during the match. The disagreement led to them being tossed out of the viewing center and it was while they were outside that the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim to death with a broken bottle. It was learnt that during the match, Saheed stood up and Yemi shouted at him and told him to sit down as he was blocking him from viewing the match on the screen.
