PHOTOS: LASTMA Official Allegedly Assaults Motorist To Convulsion In Ketu


An officail of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) identified as Asorona allegedly beat up a motorist to convulsion at Ketu bus stop in Lagos on Tuesday morning, July 8, 2014 at about 7:30am.
According to reports, the official stopped the driver, whom he car he claimed had violated traffic rules, removed him from the car and allegedly assaulted him.
While he was doing this, his colleagues seized the man’s car.
While the assault was ongoing, reports say the driver fell down on the road into convulsion. Reports say he was shaking like an epileptic patient.
The LASTMA official tried to flee the scene but was stopped by passersby who insisted he must stay there to see what happens to the man.
There are no reports on the outcome on the driver and what caused the convulsion.  an update on this story will be brought to you later

Robbers circulate letters of their coming to residents in Igando, Lagos

We have come to the stage where armed robbers now write to residents of their coming so they can prepare earlier and keep something for them (robbers). Residents of Onimaba, College Bus stop, Ikotun Road, Igando, Lagos have been given reasons to live in fear since last week Thursday after a letter purportedly written by armed robbers circulated their streets. The letter, numbering about 20 was typed on an A4 paper and was scattered on the streets, which was noticed by residents as they woke up on Thursday morning. The letter reads, "Be prepared, be prepared, be prepared. Our dues must be paid this festive season. Nobody can stop us as we can strike at any time. Only enough money can save your life.
