Acting Adamawa Gov Sacks Media Executives



The Acting Governor of Adamawa state Rt.Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has sacked chief executives of the State-owned media organisations.
Those affected are Usman Ahmed Dadah, General Manager of State Television, ATV, Umar Sambo Abubakar, State Radio, ABC and Madam Ninah Pepeh, General Manager, Adamawa Press Limited, publishers of The Scope Newspaper.
The statement was signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Abdullahi Liman Tukur, who has named the new General Managers for the media outfits.
Those to replace the outgoing media executives are, Alleni Ethan Dah, General Manager, ABC Yola, Yusuf Nadabo Usman, General Manager, ATV Yola and Saidu Modibbo Hassan, General Manager, APL Yola.
The statement also announced the appointment of Dr. Kaletaowa Farauta as the new chief executive officer for the Adamawa State Basic Education Board while Alh. Danjuma Adamu assumes the role of secretary.
