Tragic: Thunder Strikes 2 Students Dead In Jos

Two secondary school students in Shendam, Plateau state were struck dead by lightening during the weekend and another seriously injured.
According to the principal of the school,  Mr. Raymond Gofut, the sad incident happened when the students were going back to their hostel in the evening shortly after a heavy rainfall.
The third student who was seriously injured was rushed to an unidentified hospital while the bodies 0f the dead students were taken to a local morgue.
 The state commissioner for education, Mr. Nanle Dashe, when contacted confirmed the incident, saying the school was not owned by the government though he was yet to receive full details about the incident.

Ebola: Lagos Matron who attended to Liberian victim also shows symptoms....

The Chairman of Nigerian Medical Association,Lagos State chapter Dr. Tope Ojo, disclosed that the matron of the hospital where the Liberian Ebola victim, Patrick Sawyer, was admitted is now showing signs of the virus. She was one of the several health workers who attended to him prior to his demise on July 25th. He said "We know that the infected doctor is stable, however, the matron is showing symptoms too. But everybody, including the experts from the World Health Organisation, are doing all they can.Strike or no strike, we must respond to emergencies. Our doctors are at the Yaba hospital where isolated contacts are being monitored.”
