It has been reported that suspected members of the Boko Haram sect have kidnapped 20 women from a nomadic settlement in a town near Chibok, where the sect members had abducted over 200 schoolgirls and young women on April 14.

 Channels report:-
A member of the vigilante groups set up to resist Boko Haram’s attacks, said the men arrived at noon on Thursday in the Garkin Fulani settlement and forced the women to enter their vehicles at gunpoint.
He said they drove away to an unknown location in the remote stretch of Borno State.
He further said that the group also took three young men who tried to stop the kidnapping.
Efforts by the the Nigerian Armed Forces to rescue the over 200 girls abducted in Chibok have not yielded any result, although the military, few weeks ago, claimed it had  a knowledge of where the girls were held.
The terrorist group said it would release the girls if the government would agree to a prisoner swap deal. It is not clear if the government would accept the offer or not.
Terrorist attacks on villages, churches and schools in the northeast started since 2009, resulting in the declaration of the State of Emergency in three states in the northeast. However, critics have said that the State of Emergency had not yielded the expected result, but the Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, said the military was winning the war against terrorism and had reiterated the commitment of his government to rescuing the girls.
