Collete Nwadike, 23 year old English language and literature graduate from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has emerged the new Miss Tourism Nigeria 2014. She represented Anambra State out-shined 34 other tourism ambassadors at the event which held on 17th May 2014. Collete will represent Nigeria at the 2014 Miss Tourism World pageant which will hold later on this year. Congrats to her. See more pics after the cut...

Ebola: Lagos Matron who attended to Liberian victim also shows symptoms....

The Chairman of Nigerian Medical Association,Lagos State chapter Dr. Tope Ojo, disclosed that the matron of the hospital where the Liberian Ebola victim, Patrick Sawyer, was admitted is now showing signs of the virus. She was one of the several health workers who attended to him prior to his demise on July 25th. He said "We know that the infected doctor is stable, however, the matron is showing symptoms too. But everybody, including the experts from the World Health Organisation, are doing all they can.Strike or no strike, we must respond to emergencies. Our doctors are at the Yaba hospital where isolated contacts are being monitored.”
