Two feared dead in Cross River. Road accident

Two people were feared dead onn thursday following an accident along the Calabar-Ugep Highway after a Mercedes Benz 911 truck conveying cattle from the northern part of the country skiffed and fell off the road.
        A resident of the area, who witnessed the accident, said it occurred around 10am at Ehom Central in Baise Local government in Cross River State. According to punch, the deceased person, it was gathered, were two men who were in the truck the driver and his assistant.

Some people who were in an oncoming vehicle were also injured when they ran into the fallen truck. Several cow were also killed in the accident and others injured.

Robbers circulate letters of their coming to residents in Igando, Lagos

We have come to the stage where armed robbers now write to residents of their coming so they can prepare earlier and keep something for them (robbers). Residents of Onimaba, College Bus stop, Ikotun Road, Igando, Lagos have been given reasons to live in fear since last week Thursday after a letter purportedly written by armed robbers circulated their streets. The letter, numbering about 20 was typed on an A4 paper and was scattered on the streets, which was noticed by residents as they woke up on Thursday morning. The letter reads, "Be prepared, be prepared, be prepared. Our dues must be paid this festive season. Nobody can stop us as we can strike at any time. Only enough money can save your life. To be forewarned is to be fore-harmed. We don inform you people of this area. if you get ear, make you hear ooooo." A landlord who gave his name as Alhaji Lawal during an interview with Punch, said..
