Tragic: Naval officer shoots bus conductor to death over N500 in Lagos

A Naval officer has reportedly shot and killed a bus conductor this morning at Warehouse Bus Stop, in Oshodi-Apapa area of Lagos.
The incident was reported by a Facebook user, who also shared a photo of the victim who has been identified as Lekan.
An eyewitness said that the conductor was killed because he and the bus driver refused to give the Naval team N500. Read the report below:

Robbers circulate letters of their coming to residents in Igando, Lagos

We have come to the stage where armed robbers now write to residents of their coming so they can prepare earlier and keep something for them (robbers). Residents of Onimaba, College Bus stop, Ikotun Road, Igando, Lagos have been given reasons to live in fear since last week Thursday after a letter purportedly written by armed robbers circulated their streets. The letter, numbering about 20 was typed on an A4 paper and was scattered on the streets, which was noticed by residents as they woke up on Thursday morning. The letter reads, "Be prepared, be prepared, be prepared. Our dues must be paid this festive season. Nobody can stop us as we can strike at any time. Only enough money can save your life. To be forewarned is to be fore-harmed. We don inform you people of this area. if you get ear, make you hear ooooo." A landlord who gave his name as Alhaji Lawal during an interview with Punch, said..
