Nigerian Idol Season 4



Nigerian Idol Season 4: first set of three contestants proceeds to Top 12 stage.

Lisa Omoregebe, Jesse Okonkwo and popular Elvis Ejiro are the first three contestants to make it to the Top 12 stage in the Etisalat -Sponsored Nigerian Idol Season 4competition.

On the last week show, the second group of 10 comprising of Jahtell, Eye-D, Henry Mc-John, Next, Xolani, Joy, Victoria, Dawn and Miss Oge, Sang their hearts out to qualify for the next round of the competition, to vote, viewers need to dial the number of their favourite contestants on an Etisalat line or send the contestants number to 33680 via SMS. Voting lines close on Wednesday at midnight.



Speaking after the show, Modupe Thani, Head , Events and Sponsorship said, '' As a youth-Oriented brand, Etisalat is passionate about growing and nurturing talent among the youths, we have identified music as a major talent and we are excited that we are promoting it through Nigerian Idol''

Ebola: Lagos Matron who attended to Liberian victim also shows symptoms....

The Chairman of Nigerian Medical Association,Lagos State chapter Dr. Tope Ojo, disclosed that the matron of the hospital where the Liberian Ebola victim, Patrick Sawyer, was admitted is now showing signs of the virus. She was one of the several health workers who attended to him prior to his demise on July 25th. He said "We know that the infected doctor is stable, however, the matron is showing symptoms too. But everybody, including the experts from the World Health Organisation, are doing all they can.Strike or no strike, we must respond to emergencies. Our doctors are at the Yaba hospital where isolated contacts are being monitored.”
