… Godly facts you may not know about Sex



One of the major weaknesses of mankind is sex. We have battled with it, not just lost the battle, but enslaved by it. We are unknowingly living at the mercy of our feelings. Our feelings have absolute control over our lives and we are gradually drowning in the ocean of lust.


Gone are those days when Virginity is a pride, adultery is a shame and fornication unacceptable. Today, all stated above is the order of the day. A virgin is ashamed of his/her status, men desire to marry a woman that is experienced in bed, and parents give the boy child condom for protection and sex is the best advertising strategy for products and services.

When the feeling lashes us, we cowardly succumb disregarding the upshot. Prevalent diseases are as a result of men exchanging natural relation with unnatural ones; homosexuality, Bestiality, sexual objectification etc. The physical consequences (HIV/AIDS, STDs etc.) are nothing to be compared with the spiritual outcome on the soul.

It is time we get freedom from these vices that easily entangles us through the knowledge of Godly facts we may not know about SEX.
  • All other sin a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his body (1 Corinthians 6:18).  
  •  Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexual offenders (1 Corinthians 6:8)  
  •  Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s Temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s Temple, God will destroy him; for God’s Temple is SACRED, and you are that TEMPLE (1 Corinthians 3:16-17).   
  •   Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her? For it is written, “The two will become one flesh” (1 Corinthians 6:16). 
  •   It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality, that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable (1 Thessalonians 4:3).
  •  We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did –and in one day twenty Three- Thousand of them died (1 Corinthians 10:8)   
  •    ... The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body (1 Corinthians 6:13). 
  •  When tempted, no one should, “say God is tempting me”. For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed (James 1:13-14).     
  •  Like a City whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control (Proverbs 25:28).
  •  “Everything is permissible for me”-but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible for me”- but I will not be mastered by anything (1 Corinthians 6:12).
Sexual Immorality kills and exposes us to lots of avoidable heartaches. It can even cause us a life time of peace and happiness. Thank God for His Grace that is readily available through His Wisdom (Jesus Christ). All we need is to resist the devil and he will flee from us (James 4:7).
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. Do we lack Wisdom (Christ)? Ask God, He gives generously without finding fault and we will receive (James 1:5).

Robbers circulate letters of their coming to residents in Igando, Lagos

We have come to the stage where armed robbers now write to residents of their coming so they can prepare earlier and keep something for them (robbers). Residents of Onimaba, College Bus stop, Ikotun Road, Igando, Lagos have been given reasons to live in fear since last week Thursday after a letter purportedly written by armed robbers circulated their streets. The letter, numbering about 20 was typed on an A4 paper and was scattered on the streets, which was noticed by residents as they woke up on Thursday morning. The letter reads, "Be prepared, be prepared, be prepared. Our dues must be paid this festive season. Nobody can stop us as we can strike at any time. Only enough money can save your life. To be forewarned is to be fore-harmed. We don inform you people of this area. if you get ear, make you hear ooooo." A landlord who gave his name as Alhaji Lawal during an interview with Punch, said.. Riots In The Streets Of Brazil After World Cup Humiliation By Germany [PHOTOS]

  Riot police were out in force with several Brazilian cities in case trouble kicked off. in Rio de janeiro officers descended on copacabana beach amid reports of gunfire. Authorities were called to a densely populated area of Sao paulo after football supporters reportedly set a bus alight. Spectators inside the Mineirao stadium in Belo horizonte were in tears as a their sides succumbed to a humiliating 7-1 defeat to Germany in the world cup semi-final ending dreams of a title on home soil last night. Brazil head coach Felipe Scolari said he had experienced the worst day of his life in the wake of the result. he said i will be remembered probably because i lost 7-1, the worst defeat brazil has ever had but that was a risk i knew i was running  when i accepted this position.
