The legendary singer, Innocent Idibia popularly known as Tuface, explained in a chat how he handles female fans who do not want to respect his marriage. In a recent chat with Saturday Beats, he said that when a lady is trying to be too familiar with him, he introduces her to any of his single friends that is around at the time. Nine universities have been shut down by the National Universities Commission (NUC), for operating without legal licence. The affected institutions have been published in the weekly bulletin of the NUC. The publication was signed by the NUC's executive secretary, Prof. Julius Okojie, stating that the universities which had been in existence for years, and have been used to extort money from innocent students who were giving fake certificates in return. The universities are; National University of Nigeria, Keffi, Nasarawa State; North Central University, Otukpo, Benue State; Christ Alive Christian Seminary and University, Enugu; Richmond Open University, Arochukwu; Abia State and Saint Clements University, Iyin Ekiti, Ekiti State. Top on the agenda was how the over 200 Chibok girls will be released and what can be done to make sure their release is safely carried out. President Goodluck Jonathan's Principal Secretary Hassan Tukur said an agreement to end hostilities with Boko Haram had been reached following talks. He said that as part of the deal, all the girls will be released. An Ikeja High Court on Friday upheld the ban on the wearing of Hijab (Muslim head scarf) in public primary and secondary schools in Lagos state. Justice Modupe Onyeabor dismissed the suit instituted against the Lagos State Government bytwo 12-year-old girls under the aegisof the Muslim Students of Nigeria, Lagos State Area Unit. The government had banned the use of Hijab on the argument that it was not part of the approved school uniform for pupils. Following the ban, the students filed the suit on May 27, 2013, seeking redress and asked the court to declare the ban as a violation of their rights to freedom of thought, religion and education. In her judgment, Onyeabor held that the prohibition of the wearing of Hijab over school uniforms within and outside the premises of public schools was not discriminatory.
